Detailing Menu

Don't be afraid to list your additional details at a higher price. One of my favorite quotes by unknown "Price is only an issue in the absence of value." People will gladly pay when they feel like they are getting a good deal. Show them value and they will buy. My ext/int is priced at 35. Relatively low to get people to try me out. When they are face to face with me, always show them something more to get and why it is such a great deal, today only ;). Show excitement, be genuine and they will buy.

Every month I have a special. And I will utilize that every single time. Clay package in the spring for example. It is recommended to remove all the grime from the rainy season. Once this is said, I get about 1/4 of my washes upped to a clay.

$35 for int/ext? Seems low or is that your "basic" package? Or since your starting out is that your way of getting interest from clients?

What happens when people don't want to upgrade and then you have to waste hours of your time for $35? Seems like a risky plan. It's almost like going to buy a mac computer for $200
The first thing people would think is "what's broken on it".

It may seem low, but my average days usually run 12-20 cars. With an average ticket of $60. I guess we could be playing completely different ball games, as I run more of a volume based operation.

What are you doing for these details?

I know I couldn't offer that in my area otherwise I would be looking at the worst conditions with high expectations for those vehicles!

I charge 120 extra for clay. But I include the wash as a monthly promotion. 2 of my guys can finish a clay and wax in 45 min including the interior. I had a 11 car day, but the avg ticket was $90. 6 out of 11 were clay packages.

Yea I don't think that's doable here with salt and tons of dirt! I can easily spend 2 hours on an interior or more.
