As the title states, has anyone used detailing products to clean out their front loading washer? I was thinking of using 1:3 diluted OPC to fully clean the gasket. I've heard of people on here doing paint correction on these things but was curious if anyone has cleaned them inside. There's a nasty smell coming out of mine and I have a feeling it's due to the gasket. I plan on running an empty cycle on hot with bleach for the drum.

Buddy try some white vinegar. About a 2 cups full in a wash program with no clothing. That will clean and get rid of any smell.

Will this also work with top loading machines, skyzie?

Twice a year. I put a full gallon of white vinegar in my top loading machine. Run it on hot XL load and let it fill. Just before it starts to agitate I grab a scrub brush and scrub all the gunk out let it stand and soak for 10 minutes. Close it let it finish the cycle. Run cold water loads until vinegar odor is gone. Just like a coffee pot. I'm guessing this will work for a front load machine minus the ability of scrubbing the inside of the machine.

I have two washers, I use one washer for my detailing towels and the other one personal laundry only. I take the nasty terry towels to the laundry mat as well.
