the past few months i am getting back to detailing my cars and some friends cars since i bought a house and have my own garage now...i ordered a whole bunch of stuff from autogeek including a PC7424XP and all the goods to go along with it..my question is im married with a 3yr old so sometimes time is limited. is it ok to stretch a detailing out over 3-4 days..the car would be covered in the garage during that time and not be driven.

yes.. once you are going to start polishing (or whatever youre gonna do) either do a waterless wash (to keep things simple) or hit it with a quick detailer and youll be good

You can of course stretch out a detail, I think alot of folks do! Just make sure you qd or waterless wash the areas you haven't polished, before you polish them since they'll be sitting over night for days, some minor dust may accumulate so just to be safe.

But indeed you can, I spread my car over a week one time, just to make sure i didnt over work myself, and do the best and most accurate job I wanted to do!

Enjoy and have fun, and oh yeah, pics when done for everyone!

thanks for the quick answers...when i first got into detailing i used to be able to get it all done in one day...like u said i dont want to over work myself so i can do the best job possible...of course there will be pics
