Detailing website and Google

You're a fool if you believe that social media is not needed to expand a business. Organic marketing is possible, and still very good, but there's no denying that social media, on top of adwords and SEO, will significantly increase traffic. I had 14,000 page views last week. I live in an Amish community, so there's no telling me that paid advertisement via facebook and other social media outlets is not promoting me.
I must be doing something wrong,I have to businesses which one of them grosses 480k a year with 8 employees. The other one 72k a year and zero advertising.a salesperson came to one of my businesses to sell me a advertising tool in restaurants,I didn't need it but she was nice and gave her the 1000.00 worth of business,I got zero from that.

Websites are beneficial if your selling a product to the masses, not a service business. In the service or hospitality business is saturated and pretty much everyone has a person who they know that can handle a service or repair. If my ac breaks ,I don't go running to the web,you call a friend and ask them if they know someone.Detailing is word of mouth period.ads run from detailing are usually people that call and want cheap services.

Im turning work down, and not even returning calls I'm so busy.Im from port st lucie, met you working on the sl 560. I don't use net Facebook or any other social media and no networks of any kind .sales come from word of mouth for me.I turned down 3 jobs this week.

Jeff? lol

You are right, at the same time, some people are asking for it...and sometimes people refering me, point their friends to my facebook page...my website is not finished.( actually I crashed it).

Relying on seo and website is useless...and paint correction and coatings most likely won't be sold thru website. It's more face to face and referal based.
I have facebook and website...if someone wants to look at it...fine. Don't see much business from there.
1500 views on Google business...3 calls from total strangers...so I guess that's the proof for me not to spend too much time on this.

Face to face is the ultimate deal closer when it comes to detailing.porche came out great, how long did that take, car was hammered.

I think 15 hours...it cleaned up good...and fast...I had to do it fast...prepped one evening when he received it, and started a little bit, and finished next day. I expected to have a battle with it...but it was easier than I thought. He found me thru this forum here.

Thanks everyone one for there opinion I lunched the site on our Facebook page last night we have had over 10 calls today and 5 appointments for this week I'll let everyone know how many of them came thro for details

You have grammatical errors. Change "are" to "our", "there" to "their".

You will no doubt get a ton of phone calls if you have a good facebook page. That and a website (with good SEO) are the an excellent way to get your name out there, and potential customers can more importantly SEE what they are getting before booking an appt.

Just got done with this bad boy, facebook and website got me this job. Guy lives 2 cities away, my website and facebook page can reach anyone anywhere anytime ; ) Never would have got this job without those 2 essential business tools. $400 for 4 hours of polishing, yes please.

I agree Facebook kicked off our detailing business and the word to mouth got around and really set us off. The website is only taking us to the next level, thanks again everyone and please let me know of any more errors I have been editing them as I go.

Your site isnt bad, but you could get more use out of it if you spent some time learning how to format content for search engines. Just google that, and how to create page titles for search engines and youll get the hang of it.

Websites are extremely valuable if done right, look at the one were on, probably brings in 5+ million a year in biz....

Google owns YouTube....you'll also get/have better rankings if you have a few videos on your site. Also, don't let your site stay static or stagnant. In other words make some changes or addition every couple of months or so. I forget what it's called or how you do it, But Google has a tool that you can use to force google to basically rescan your site. Google wants to see up to date content. I hope that made sense. Wish I could offer more.
