Detailing withdrawal

my poor truck is white with salt. filthy dirty . been frezzing for weeks ..suck suck suck .. andc now its snowing outside again ... grrrrrrrrr.......

Tom,

That's a great fall photo of your little girl! It reminds me of when my two daughters were that age. The years go by in a blink of an eye and now mine are in their late 20's!

As far as the snow; yup, it was snowing on my way to work this morning.

Personally I think Autogeek controls the weather.

For the most part all I can do is sit inside waiting for the warm weather to arrive. Not that I haven't purchased enough but I spent another $220 this weekend so at this rate I'll be in the poor house!! :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:
 
im deluting ARO like 20-1 and spraying down my entire truck and then pressure washing it clean. works extremely well!!
 
Well, I did get my cars clean just in time for the snow. I know my neighbors think I am insane. However, I do feel better. There is something theraputic for me when I clean the gunk off the vehicles.

I just spent over $400 at AG. Expect pics when I get my order in. Sucks that I can't even use 'em yet. Well, I'll have some extra stuff to go sniff anyway. :D I HATE WINTER WITH A PASSION!!! There, I said it. I feel better now. :rant:

weather looks good for this weekend!! finally.. well 40 degress. but ill take it ....my truck is so filthy.. im going to spend like 2 days cleaning it probably...

Tom,

Last weekend I got one bucket of warm soapy water and few buckets of clean warm water and did the whole truck in my drive. My truck came out great and because of using warm water it was dry in about 10 minutes.

Living up North requires us to be more resourceful than most... :props: :props:

UPS delivered a 20 pound package today and another ones scheduled for tomorrow. Both are from Autogeek, I wonder what they could be? :buffing:

i was thinking of doing something like an onr bucket wash . but what do i do with all the salt on the undercarrage of the truck . they salt so heavy were i live . its crazy .. just knowing that i have all this salt under my truck drives me crazy.. thanks

Not to sound negative, but I feel those injections are a waste of time. Long before I had spinal fusion done I had tried those injections 2 or 3 times with little to no help from them. Even the people I know who had a positive result from them had it only last about 2 weeks.

ohi decided not to do it . i agree!!!.. i talked to a few friends that have done it and it wore off in a few days just as you said ...thanks ...
 
Went and power washed my car today hope that doesn't mean it's going to snow soon.Thank god for sealants because all i did was blow the salt off and the car looks as if i took time to really clean it.

It was 50+ today and warmer tomorrow and Sunday so I plan to wash.
 
75 days of more than a 3 inches of snow on the ground in Omaha... We can't seem to keep the temp above 32, all my cars look like salt blocks. Weekly washing at the car wash keeps the big stuff off, but as you all know its not the same as washing it in the driveway.

Richy, I am 49 and have had both of my knees replaced. Keep doing the physical therapy and you'll be amazed how much better it feels in about 5 or 6 weeks. I am doing things now that I was unable to do a couple of years ago. Hang in there.

Thank you. I've been working the physiotherapy hard and I'm hoping for the same result that you have attained.
 
What weather problem?

It was 40 degrees so I pulled out the powerwasher and started blasting , then a bucket and brush.

Neighbors probably think I'm nuts.
