DeWalt cordless DA polisher

I can't exactly answer that. But a 6 amp-hour battery isn't noticeably heavier than a 4 amp-hour battery when connected to the buffer. However, I imagine if you jumped to an 8, 9, or 12 amp-hour battery that would make a bigger difference and probably throw off the balance somewhat. Then again, I don't have any batteries larger than a 6 amp-hour. FYI, one 6 amp-hour battery will polish my entire F150 or wife's Toyota Sienna.

I picked one up almost 2 months ago because I had batteries already. As much as I want a Flex, I had to get in on the cordless option sooner rather than later.

No regrets. I'm liking the DeWalt and it was less out of pocket.

I soon after picked up the Flex PXE (Pixie) when my GG3 busted. Next on my list is the C-Beast!

My brother in law has a Flex XCE 8-125 18.0, I tested it out before I bought the Dewalt DCM848B. While I haven't had the chance to do a side-by-side comparison, I like the Dewalt better. Both have a nice solid quality feel, but the Dewalt DCM848B is a much better deal, and allows you to buy the best battery capacity for your needs and the batteries can be purchased almost anywhere for less than replacement Flex batteries.
