DG #105 with other products

That is untrue. Please read the product description straight from Autogeek's product info page.

"This is a one of a kind product! Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent serves as “glue” between the paint and a polymer paint sealant in the sense that it encourages a better bond and longer life of the sealant."
--->Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent (PBA) #601

It is a bonding agent, and doesn't bond polish with polish, but paint and polish.

If you finish reading the rest of the page you will see it has the capability of removing an underlying weaked LSP so its not bonding polish with polish as the 501 would not have had to time to properly cure and bond, and thus be removed.

It removes old wax, which can cause the final coat of protection to appear cloudy, and thereby enhances the final gloss.

If the 501 had not had the time to properly cure and polish, then it would be even easier to remove with the 601 then, wouldn't it?

Either way, it's helping to clean the surface paint, by removing old wax and polish whether the wax or polish has had the time to properly cure or not. Just look at the label on the bottle itself where it says it prepares the painted surface for applying polish, and loosens old wax and polish. Therefore, I believe one would want to apply 601 to a clean paint surface with no polish or wax underneath to be used effectively.

Has anybody followed up with DG on this? I was first intrigued by the bonding agent 601 flash curing the marine cleaner polish 501. But without knowing that process I would think you would put the bonding agent on a cleaned car then apply their polishes. My guess is that the 501 is more of a cleaner and the protection is altered by the 601 in a way that then allows you to put either 111 or 105 on top. I would just like to know for sure before I go through

Are these te basic steps? It is alittle confusing that 501 is a cleaner but it leaves a sealant behind, I would think you would want a straight cleaner since you end up putting a dedicated sealant anyways. Coult the 501 step be replace with p21s cleaner lotion?

1) Clean - 501
2) Flash Cure Cleaner - 601 (also enhance longevity of next step)
3) Sealant - 105/111 your pick
4) Wax Topper - Colly 845 (optional)
