Which of these is the better choice to apply before the #105 sealant? The 652 says it is best for older cars or paint with lots of oxidation. My paint is fairly new. I have a black 03 Maxima (the one in my avatar). Trying to figure out which polish is best for me. Also, if you had to choose between WG and DG which would you go with? Thanks..

i'd go with the 601. Personally I have never used it but I do use 105 and 101. Most stories I've read have the 601 proceeding the 105.

#652 is a paint cleaner/polish.
#601 is a polish bonding agent.
Two very different products.
#105 is the LSP in this group.
If you already own all three, I would use all three. The #652, followed by the #601 and finish with the #105.
Read and follow the instructions for all the products. #601 is not removed prior to applying the #105.

To confuse you even further. :)
I use #501 Marine & RV cleaner polish for my first application. It does a great job of cleaning and leaves some protection on the paint.
My process is: #501, #601, #105. The three products seem to work quite good together. The #601 may remove some of the protection left by the #501, but my main reason for using the #501 is for its exceptional cleaning abilities.
If you haven't placed your order yet, you might want to research #951 Aqua Wax and consider adding it to your order. A great refresher spray wax that is very easy to apply between your regular waxing sessions.

Have not ordered yet. Was confused to what the difference between the 601 and 652 was. Thanks for clearing that up. And I deffinately plan on adding the AW to the order. Going with the entire DG line up (shampoo, clay bar, cleaner, polish, and sealant) I just am a bit confused as to what is a 'cleaner' and which is a 'polish'. Thats why I asked. So you like the 501 better than the 652 for your cleaner/polish?

Having never used the #652, I can't compare it to the #501.
From reading the product descriptions, I think I would pay the difference in price for the #501 again. The #501 works great for me and I think you would be happy with it. One of the reasons I chose it was comments from other Duragloss users about how good it cleaned paint.
Chances are that either #501 or #652 will do the job for you.
As far as names of products like "cleaner" or "polish", I think the only way to know for sure what a product does is use it. The names often don't make any sense at all.
Reading the descriptions helps, but still doesn't always tell you everything you want to know.
FWIW, The Duragloss line seems to be a good one, but it isn't a "miracle" product. I think you will like it, (I do), but dozen's of products available will do a great job if used correctly.

501 has better protection,durability and cleaning power.

Thanks for the replys. This can get a little confusing for a newbie. Would any of you guys reccomend a swirl remover in the prep work? Or am I making this more complicated than it needs to be? lol

Deff. The 501, 601, 105. Combo. You can't go wrong! I use it and love it. Upkeep it with the aw.
