Perhaps somebody can clear this up for me. What is the difference between Diamondite Glass Poli-Shield, Diamondite Glasswork Shield, and Diamondite Shield? I've been looking for a product that will repel water from glass (much in the same way that Collinite beads and repels water) and doesn't cause wiper chatter. Durability is also a concern. I've just picked up Optimum Opti-Seal and I'm going to try that out on glass and see how that works. Thoughts? If anybody has videos of these products in action please feel free to share them. Thanks!

EDIT: I found this video on YouTube, but I have no idea what product is being used. This is the effect I want to have on my glass.

I posted a similar thread and question and got very few responses. I don't think that very many people have had experience with much of the Diamondite range. I feel like I should just give them a try but I am always much more comfortable buying products that I can at least get some feedback on first.

Sorry I can't help you, but there are many products like Aquapel or even UK companies like Nanolex and Gtechniq which produce products with similar water behavior.

I have the poly-shield (comes in the glass repair kit). I like it but don't have much experience with other products (other than rainX and Stoner's glass cleaner w/ rain repellent). It is easy to apply and doesn't take to much product. I agree with Phinox that it doesn't streak like rainX. The Diamondite poly-shield is a gell which they claim will fill in minor chips better to minimize their appearance. Maybe if you don't have an older windshield you can use the diamondite shield?
