Did I burn through my clear coat?

Okay got to love a guy who resprays his car for a car show. NOW THATS DETAILING! You did an amazing job not only painting but detailing. Car looks great. The underside of the hood is even growing on me.

What manufacturer paint did you use? Solvent or water based?

I think you owe your parents a dinner for gving up their garage for this project! Awesome post thank for sharing it.

Lol thanks I used ppg shop line paint I believe it's water based and yea I owe my parents big time especially my dad he helped me get the car back together during crunch time

We'll not wanting to ruin my clear coat it knocked on the neighbors door to find out what it was that had gotten all over the front of my car, he simply went over to my car and just started to rub it off :( turned out to just be a rubbery caulk that came right off but I thought it was hey very rood to just scrape it off my car instead allow me to figure out a plan of action

But all in all the car turned out to be fine and is now sitting until some cooling system upgrades In the spring
