Did I do something wrong with AIO?

Today I washed, clayed, used CarPro Trix, and applied Klasse AIO. First thing's first, my car looks great now..again :) My question revolves around the AIO. As I was applying it and got maybe half way finished on my car or a little before halfway, it started feeling very hard to spread. It seemed like as soon as I pressed the applicator pad to the panel, the AIO would spread a few inches then it seemed like it would just immediately dry and not spread anymore.

I did everything in a building with the doors closed, so I could keep contaminants to a minimum. There's not an air conditioner, and it was about 95 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit inside and outside the building. I'm assuming maybe the temperature of the car panels got too hot??? I had to apply more AIO than is recommended to get it to spread appropriately, but I was able to get it all buffed off. It looks great now. I really wanted to get some pictures taken between each of my steps today to post on here, but it's super dark where i'm doing my detailing, so it turns into a big hassle to get half way decent pictures.

I'll be applying another coat of AIO in the morning followed by Klasse Sealant Glaze followed by another layer of SG the next morning. I'm just curious to the reasoning behind the difficulty of spreading the AIO?

Also i've been trying to find techniques on applying the SG since I have heard it's harder to apply or buff out than the AIO. I read something about mixing the SG with a quick detailer in a spritz bottle? What do you guys recommend?

Thanks!

Most likely the humidity. I had to skip polishing the other day and use a glaze because I could not work with it.

But I would try misting a quick detailer on the pad to help it glide over the paint.

I periodically misted the pad with a QD, but I wasn't sure if that was safe or not, so I didn't do it too much.
