Did I NOT apply this coating correctly? Images inside..

Here's what my experience looked like when trying to reapply Mckee's the second time after a year, and a polish.

I did NOT prep the paint well enough (whatever prep you use, you must ensure the surface is free of anything left over. I made sure the surface was literally squeaky clean upon redoing).

Not sure if it helps, but you can see the behavior before me repolishing/reapplying.

So guys, I redid the truck today.. This is my conclusion. The truck was bought used many years ago with very low miles. The bed was repainted, Im thinking and pretty certain that they used a soft clear on it. Im 99% sure thats the issue I was seeing. I also changed my process, I wiped off the polish dry and then chased it with a few wipes of Eraser. I also think I may have mixed the N-914 too heavy and was causing streaking/leave a film on the paint.

That's a great benefit to have a lot of coating when buying the McKees coating. Other offerings you almost just have enough to do the layer or layers needed. So not much room for errors and re-doing.

Glad you found out what the problems where.
