Well, iv'e been looking for a decent carpet cleaner/extractor the last couple months. At the moment I don't want to purchase a Mytee because its winter and.. well you know.. SLOWWW lol. Waiting till late summer most likely.
Anyhow, I found this browsing craigslist last night and thought.. hmm.. so I emailed the guy and hit the hay. Got a call In the morning and he said he has a bunch of other offers but no cash (yada yada). He got it for a gift from Christmas and has no use for it, unopened, and wanted less than half of what it costs at the store. I thought about it for a few minutes, and said why not? Drove 1hr 1/2 round trip to pick it up and i'm was quite happy, but would still like some opinions. *Cliff notes below*

Item: BISSELL Spot Clean Pro Portable Deep Cleaner 3624
Condition: Brand New
Retail: 120.99-129.00
Paid: 60.00

So did I score a Auto Detailing Bargain or waste my time and money?
Opinions are welcomed! Thanks!

*You've done well. This tool will not only pay for itself but possibly for the Mytee as well.

Happy detailing...:autowash:

Well, in that case me to. The guy didn't look like a thief/crackhead/ect and was very polite. But looks CAN be deceiving I guess.

What exactly does a "thief" look like?

Check for stolen items here..

General rule of thumb: No one sells something for half of what it's worth if they actually know what it's worth.

Good luck though, if its stolen its now documented. :)

I think that's a good deal. I've come across stuff like that but all you can do is put good faith in the human race and go about your business.

I just scored 1 16oz D300, 1 16 oz D301, (5) new 5" MF cutting discs, (5) new 5" polishing discs, and a meguiars w67 backing plate all new for $45. WHOOO!

I'd say you scored. Get to detailing some interiors and post a review or even show n' shine.

Just thought i'd update :)

Machine works flawlessly, and i'm pretty surprised on how much extraction it can actually do. Does much more than my shop vac (like x5) and carpets dried in about an hour.

All in all, I love it and i'm glad I got it. Here is a few interior shots from a BMW X3 I finished up today for a customer :buffing:
