Did my dryer kill my microfibers

Yup, people have drying lines. Pretty common feature in a home with a backyard (I have it, and I use it). I accidentally typed line dry instead of hang dry, though, which is what I really do. I bought several indoor clothes drying rack to dry my microfiber indoors so they don't get debris.

We couldn't afford a dryer when I was young so we always hung our clothes outside. Do they even sell those wooden clips that my mom used to hold the clothes up with?

They sure do!

I have a clothes line in my back yard and had to buy some about a year ago. I think I got them at Home Depot.

High Heat for microfibers is no myth. my mother ruined a batch of towels drying on High Heat.

The fibers get "burnt" hard and crispy.

Obviously each drying machine is different and has different heat temps.

As far as what is the temp that "crosses the line" I do not know.

After my mom damaged my towels, They were pretty much useless even for wheel cleaning. They lost there absorbing ability and wiping ability.

This pains me to read :( Sorry for your loss.

I dry on the "delicate" setting. Very low heat and slow tumble. I only do this for about 20 minutes. Other then my Microfiber Madness Incredipads the towels and media are all pretty damp still. I then hand on a drying rack in my living room under a ceiling fan for the remainder of the drying period. Fluffy, soft, and perfect.

Recently(past 6 months) moved to using the MicroRestore wash over the CG wash, great stuff. I noticed a difference in the softness first time using it.

They do, I just bought some to use with microfibers not too long ago haha. We used a clothes line most of the time also.
