The ole detailing cabinet was getting a little messy so I decided to tackle that little bit of a project. I didn't have a real good way of storing my microfibers and pads, so picked up this 3 drawer bin at target to get all that stuff out of the cabinet:

The bin works great except that I way underestimated the space I was going to need and already filled it plus had a load of towels in the wash yet lol. I'll probably go grab another one and stack it on top.

some pics of the cabinet all organized:

Up until now I haven't had any way of carrying my supplies whenever I did any work outside of my own garage. Had been just throwing what I could in my wash buckets and plastic bags. That needed to change. Ended up picking up these two bags from Home Depot for about $40 total.

The first one I'm using as a supply bag. It's got a bunch of pockets around the outside and inside that are the perfect shape for holding various bottles and works awesome:

The second bag is an 18" tool bag that I'm using to carry my machines. As you can see it fits 3 different machines in it at the same time with room to spare and also has several smaller pockets:

Nothing too crazy here. Just thought I'd share. If anyone else wants to post up their cabinets and bags to give other people ideas, feel free.

Nice, I might pick one of those Husky bags for my Flex now.

Very nice I have the same big husky bag, but now I need the one with all the pockets on the outside, what was Home Depots price on that one ? Love the pics.. Looks nice..

I have that same pocket bag! Love it and use it to bring my stuff from the house to the garage in the winter!!! Works awesome and is very heavy duty!!

Great bags! I have a few Husky bags as well. They often put them on sale at HDpot. I don't have that one with all the pockets. I will be keeping an eye open.

Thanks for sharing!
I just ordered the bags, will be picking them up tomorrow at Home Depot. Definitely a big improvement over stuffing things in buckets.

Very nice I have a Husky bag like that for my interior tools.

Very nice organization! I too have that three drawer bin (you're right, I need another too) and just bought those same bags yesterday while at Home Depot getting some screening. They work great.

I've looked at those bags, also. Wondered if they would be suitable for detailing supplies. Now I know.. thanks!

I actually just recently got it and haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'll try to remember to post up when I do
