The difference is the addition of an amino functional polymer, which as you are aware polymers form a molecular bond to the paint, which gives it durability. Technically its a synthetic (Micro-crystalline) wax

So the Collinite waxes have polymers and Souveran doesn't? Do you think that's the reason that most see more durability with Collinite?

Collinite was designed to be more durable and gave up some looks to do so. Souveran was designed as a show wax, it gave up some durability for absolutely stunning good looks.
