Difficult Day to Wash Nelly

It's very dry so that should help some!! Find some shade and hose yourself down between sections! :props:

It hurts more than it helps when it is this dry and windy. Cleaners and soap dry on the surface before you can get the area clean and rinsed, even if we're talking about one body panel or one wheel. Any product that states "do not let the product dry on the surface" (such as some wheel cleaners) can not be used today.

Man, if you were in MN the humidity would be 90% too. I don't touch the car if it's like that up here. Recipe for a bad time unless you chug a gallon of gatorade.

at least the visibility is good

Fair at best as the "normal" is more like 100 miles (I usually see Pikes Peak from here - it is 70 miles away). When the smoke from the forest fire blows in the visibility goes down to 5 miles or less!

Yup - that heat and humidity will kill. I think anything above 40% RH is uncomfortable. As I type this reply the RH is 3%, temp 99F (expecting a high of 102F in a couple hours). I know, those in Arizona will call me a wimp!

LOL!!!

We've been hitting the 100s since April and I hate when the temperatures go up that high because it's just impossible to wash the car without spotting on you. Granted the spots aren't permanent. A damp microfiber or using a QD will clean it up. But I just hate rushing to wash the car.

What's your low temp? During July - August, I even have a hard time washing in the morning because our lows stay in the high 80s to low 90s LOL!

Our low temps (at dawn) run 65F to 75F (typical).

At least you can wash your during the day. Down here in Texas its blasphemy to wash a car in the sun lest you want water spots everywhere :) . ONR is my friend during the summer

I would die for a day with 40% humidity. Here in MN most of my work is done in 80+% humidity and a lot of days its 90%+.
