I used the Meg's D151 on my in law's Ford yesterday and when I tried to do the areas inaccessible to the buffer, I tried using a MF covered applicator and the stuff was a nightmare. I used a dry applicator and the polish didn't want to spread or work, it gummed up on the pad and the paint and it seemed to take a ton of polish just to get a small area - the exact opposite of using it with the PC.
When I first started using it on the PC last night, I gave the pad a spritz or two of Ult Quik Detailer to prime it, should I have done the same thing with the hand applicator pad?
Any suggestions?
