Dirt collecting around paint protectors

Hi Everyone:

I bought a new Tacoma which had the paint protectors around the bed sides and around the handles and such. I enjoy spending an hour or two cleaning the truck and then have to look at dirt around the edges of the protectors. What kind of advice is out there?

I have a 2012 Tacoma and I have never seen "dirt" around the edges of clear protective film. Wax residue....yes. Dirt.....no.

What color is your paint? Mine is white.

Mine is black. I use a boars hair detail brush in many trim areas around the truck. Perhaps that will do the trick?
