Disappearing comments

Has anyone else had problems with your comments not going through with your order?? I've had this issue on Autopia and Auto Geek. With Autopia I typed gift certificate codes in the comment box, but it never showed up on their end. Auto Geek was a price match and they never got the comment or the link. Both problems were resolved I just want to see if this is a big problem and maybe I need to call in orders with any special comments..
 
Seriously though, I order through autopia but I've never had a problem with comments
 
The one from Autopia was actually about a month ago, the AG one was yesterday. Have you ever added any comments that you would know if they didn't see it? Price matches, special instructions?

Yes, on my most recent order [which was this past Sunday] I didn't put the free Jumbo Red Wash Pad in my cart in time [I was literally 1 min. late] and it wouldn't allow me to add it to my order... So I left a comment asking if they could be kind enough to help me out in the box. I called CS the next morning to see if it was going to be included in my order and they had already taken care of it.

I also requested to ship before Christmas, and my order is scheduled to arrive tomorrow night.

Glad it worked for you. I assume your using the mobile app? I use the regular page on my ipad. Shouldn't make any difference. With it happening twice to me the last two times I used the comment box certainly it's happened to someone else. Well I guess if it's fairly important I'll call for now...
 
I used the desktop view/version on my iphone to place the order.

I've asked for price matches. It's odd that it's happened to you on both sites. It's a pain but probably would be best to call the orders in for now

That's what I'm thinking. On the item I asked for the price match it was a great price. Then by the time you figure out they didn't match it a day has passed and the price went up 60.00. They we're great about taking care of it. I would much rather them actually see the price than have to take my word for it. Hopefully some other people had caught that deal so they know it was legit.
 
They remembered to add the "free red jumbo wash pad"... However they forgot to include the "free stuff on orders over $50" that I had placed in my order.

It seems if you change anything before placing order,the comment box is emptied & im not sure if they received it. I did ask for the free travel bag after order was placed and it was added so it looks like that one was received. It is a bit frustrating not knowing if it was received or not
