Disappointed with collinite 845. All hazy! Any advice?

I think all bets are off on wax/sealant performance if you're applying them over a glaze. There's no way to know what could or would happen. With that stuff on there now I think the best approach is to use a coating/sealant prep polish to ensure the surface is ready to accept a sealant. You could use finishing polish, but then you likely need a panel wipe to remove polishing oils.

Dawn may or may not be causing a problem. I would use a car wash soap.

You don't need to remove polishing oils to apply a wax but agree about the glaze

It was interesting when I clicked on the youtube link. It came up and I saw 2 weeks ago I watched 80% of the video. Literally about 5 seconds away from him talking about the hazing.

Fightnews - It was a pretty uniform haze but could see some buffer trails I must have done too thick the first car because the haze came back 3 times. Seems to be done hazing now. But it doesn't have that wow factor it had when first applied anymore either. I did my wifes suv this weekend and just went with the trusty Zaino for now again. Plus it is silver and anything looks fine on silver.

I think others are on the right track about the sweating. I used 845 for several years and still like it. However, you do need to be careful on how thick it is applied. I'd get hazy spots on hot days where I applied too much product. Normally a wash and/or a qiuck wipe down of the areas with a QD spray would remove them.
