Disturbing Interior Detail - Dodge Nitro by Visual Pro Detailing

Wow... speechless.

I don't think I would have even attempted it.

Nice work.

I would have tried to get out of it with some sort of really high estimate.... :D

If they agreed to pay then OK, if not then RUN. LOL

I don't normally do more than a quick wipe down and vacuum on interiors... And that is it...... More of an exterior guy..... Always have been...

 ACKKK! that was a real rolling Bio-Hazard.

That was just terrible. I'm wondering if the daughter had even planned on cleaning it or if mom/grandma said, "you are not taking my newborn grandchild home in that car".

Amazing work. It's nice to see your process, I just hope I never need to reference this thread again in the future.

i'd have to agree with grandma if that was the case.

great job on the cleanup.

REPULSIVE.

I'd a walked on that one for sure. Great work! You are truly hardcore!

That's pretty insane. I've had lots of pet hair in my car before; whadya gonna do unless you vacuum twice a day? It doesn't linger for MONTHS but it might sit there a week. The other stuff though; the stains and gunk- that's not from any animal other than a human!

I appreciate everyone's feedback. It was a beast of a job but I kind of dig jobs like this just because of the experience it gives me.

For the record... this was the 2nd worst interior job I've ever done. The worst was a jeep wrangler that had 5 gallons of soup spilled in it, then was left in the summer heat for almost a week. Lots of maggots, disturbing smell. It will be hard to ever top that one.

DrivePur is an strong odor removal, antibacterial, and interior coating system. It is excellent for severe, mild, or even vehicles with no odors that you just want to remove the germs, allergens, spores, ects..

The antibacterial coating, which is the last step of the DrivePur system, lasts around 6 months.

Edit:

Some extra things about this job that I didn't mention in the first page:

There was about 20+ lbs of random trash, junk, in the vehicle. The before pics are AFTER I picked up a majority of the loose trash.

I vacuumed up a ton of dog food, as well as the long q-tips that are used to test dogs for certain sicknesses by swabbing.. areas in their body. Probably at least a couple dozen. All used.

I wish I had got pictures of the floor mats. They were covered in mold, front and back. They got a 1:4 APC+ soak, then pressure wash, both sides.

The vehicle only had around 50k miles. :)

What a PIG!

Imagine what her home looks like

You never know though. I know some people who take wonderful care of their homes but terrible care of their cars. My grandmother is one of them. Wonderful woman. Her home is always spotless. She will repaint an entire wall to replace a single nick. She is by every definition, a 'neat freak' when it comes to her home.

Her car though? That's another story. She's a coffee fanatic. But never black. Always with syrups and creamers. The good, sticky stuff. She's also kinda clumsy. She spills her coffee all the time, and won't be bothered to wipe it up. Her center console, seats, and carpets in the front seat have dozens of coffee stains and the cupholders are always gummed up and sticky. It's not full of trash, she always throws her stuff away. The backseat looks great! LOL. But, those darn coffee stains! I've seen her do it too and it drives me nuts. She'll grab her coffee and the lid will come off or something and all over the cupholder it goes. 'Oh well' and puts the cup back into the cupholder with a squish!

Love her and wouldn't trade her for the world. I also would never call her a pig or even an untidy person. She always dresses very professionally and keeps a flawless home. But, for some reason, those coffee stains just don't bother her!

this just get's more foul the more you tell us.

Thanks for the kind words. My client said that her daughter was having a baby this week and that's why they wanted it cleaned so bad. I'm not in the business of judging peoples cleanliness, I was just that she had me to the job instead of the local shops. Without the DrivePur treatment it would have continued to be a real health hazard.

care to explain :)

care to explain :)

DrivePur is an odor removal and antibacterial system that also pro ides an antibacterial coating for the entire interior of the vehicle. It is applied by fogger so every square inch of the vehicle was decontaminated. Not just the areas I cleaned/steamed. Bacteria get everywhere in a vehicle, no matter how thorough you clean by hand you will always miss something that is contaminated.

I don't want to imagine how that newborn baby will be raised..

Great work, Mark.

OMG what a complete total pig..... And she is reproducing on top of it.....

Can't even guess what her house must look like if the car was that bad.....

It was people like that caused me to stop doing interior details along time ago, now I do nothing more than quick wipe downs and vacuums. As an add on to the exterior only....

But then I keep my load down to like 4 cars a month or so by design.....

Not trying to thread jack. This is my first post and have no idea where to put this but I found Ivan the bobblehead!! He's down on the pad washing cart by the Wolfgang banner!!

Guys, it was just a really dirty vehicle. Let's not jump to conclusions about peoples character. Everyone has let something slide at some point. :)

Oh sure I am sure some of us have....

But from what I have seen over the years I can be a pretty good guesser.... LOL

That's actually seeing the cars and houses.....

And that car was way beyond..... And they don't get like by accident or in a really short period of time....

Another thought would be I hope if she paid in cash you had gloves on and put the money in a bag and washed it before touching it.

Starting to itch just thinking about being in the same area with her....
