DJ Billy E "orion" van brought back to life (56k be warned)

Nate,

That was allot of work and boy, what I huge difference!! :props:

Very cool! I miss car audio. :(

I haven't been to an IASCA event since the judges screwed me over at the world finals in '97.

Team Gates was SPL king back then! :)

The judges are still a little off to be honest man... check this car out... they gave it second place last year... it lost to a Scion.... WTF????

Demo Cars

The black one is so NASTY!!!! That is the one that placed second to a subpar at best Scion.

Nice cars! I heart McIntosh amps! :)

There was a 100 point difference in the scoring between the two sets of judges on my car. The first set had point totals consistent with all the events I had been to that year. The second was scored 100 points lower, and it was only on my car. The rest of the cars in my class had scores that were very similar between the two sets of judges.

Not sure why they did it, and I no longer care. I still love car audio, but I'll never compete again.

I do feel make/model of car is irrelevant. It comes down to quality of install and sound quality. My car was all sound quality, and the install was average, at least for the class I was in (novice 1-150)
