Exactly, and I personally don't like the wings on the front grille so I left my crooked H.

The front grill isn't and easy mod on the 2013-2014 beacuase of the bumper across the front. They just have covers for that.

PS us Korean sports car owners are known as kimchee, not ricers

Lol- crooked H

That front bumper does look like a pita.... Thank you new safety standards for making the front ends of cars look like crap.
How about you just not walk out in front of a car???

And doesn't kimchee mean rotten cabbage?

I have the Wings on my wheels, steering wheel, front badge and rear.

In the rear i have the wing badge, and the 380GT logo, i removed the Genesis Coupe and the 3.8 badge.

I was considering doing the steering wheel. Although that one is a little different then the front and rear emblems.

Koreans prefer to call it fermented cabbage. I had my fair share of it with some Korean friends back in the 80's when I lived in Hawaii. Their are actaully many ways it's made. :xyxthumbs:

From Wikipedia:

Kimchi, also spelled kimchee or gimchi, is a traditional fermented Korean side dish made of vegetables with a variety of seasonings. It is often described as spicy and sour.

Well now I'm hungry :D

Ha! My plan has paid off already...

Had a guy at work come up to me and ask what kind of car I bought.

He said, "I looked at the emblems and couldn't figure out what it was"......

SUCCESS! Im the MANIm the MANIm the MAN

monica... now that you have gotten more seat time with it, how are you liking the new ride thus far?

Thx for asking...

I absolutely LOVE the new car. Still getting used to the different power band, but love it. I still can't believe how well it handles, how nice the interior is, etc.

I'm still getting used to the dumb comments from people, like, "that's pretty nice... for a Hyundai"

I'm sure it bothers you a little to hear that Monica but Hyundai is relatively new to the party as far as having good lookin' cars. As you know previously they were basic transportation and that's about it. They are NO JOKE anymore and people who don't pay attention to cars are bound to make those comments;)

Oh I'm well aware that when Hyundai first came here (a couple decades ago) they were cheap, crappy-made, disposable cars you bought.
It just kills me that people say stuff without thinking.

And they say I'm offensive! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It was close to three decades ago and the Accent (I think that was the model?) was the least expensive car sold in the US (after the demise of the Yugo).

Those same people have never looked at or even heard of the Eqquis I bet, probably don't know about the Genesis sedan either:banghead:

I think the Daewoo was the cheapest... after all, they were buy one get one for a period of time :wow:

I remember the ads for the Yugo back in the day in Motor Trend, IIRC it was $3990 brand new:p

people who say that have no clue. Hyundai's quality (and warranty) is ranked pretty high and they continue to climb up the ladder. let's not forget honda and toyota (which have been around for much longer) were laughed at when they first came along and look at them now. i bet most auto manufacturers wished Hyundai would fall off the face of the earth by now because of how successful they are (they do smart advertising which is everywhere) and taking their business. let people think what they want (their ignorance) they're only fooling themselves, Hyundai is not going anywhere anytime soon and is here to stay for a long time...
