Nope... they brined the crap outta the roads this morning in preparation for the snow we may or may not get tomorrow, so it stayed tucked in the garage.

I'm waiting until I'm back from my work trip before tackling the spoiler. I've been working every day since the day after Christmas on a deadline, so there hasn't been any time for fun.

I'm not sure if they use brine here or not but the roads were dry and WHITE on the way in t work this afternoon, very WHITE🙀 It looks like that's the way they're preparing for what's coming just around rush hour, right when I'm on the road doing the 2 nd part of my route😋

Sounds like you've got a plan for the car and something to look forward to with all this work you've been doing lately. Nothing like cranking up the heat in the garage and doing something to the ride! Looking forward to seeing the spoiler on your car when you get around to it.

Hmmmm, not sure what that is.... the brine is literally salt water they spray down in lines. Way to throw stuff on the road that's like AIDs for your car
The Coupe stayed home and I had a coworker pick me up LOL
The busy schedule is fine since I was gonna wait and let the paint cure anyway :xyxthumbs:

Yep, that's brine alright. Damn brine, when it's wet or damp and that salt get on the paint it reeks havoc on sealant. Make sure you use the good stuff. Menz. 845, DGPS. :xyxthumbs:

So Monica, come spring, what perf mods are on the "to do list"?

Good question Roger!

FIRST, and foremost, I'll be getting a tune. #1 bang for your buck :dblthumb2:

I'd like to get an exhaust and a CAI as well. I'm pretty sure I know which ones I will be getting.

Beyond that? When I need new tires I'm going up to 245/275s.
At that point, I may call it quits on mods....

I went overboard on the MINI and ended up not liking it, so I don't want to end up in the same boat.

This weekend I'm hoping to tackle the spoiler :dblthumb2:

That's what combo I have on my 20"s but the wheels are wider too, 8.5" 245/35's F 9.5" 275/30's Rear. Hankook V-12's, I like them much better than the oem Bridgestones and they were much less $$.

Whew, 20s!!! And I thought the 19s were big!

Yeah, I do not like the Bridgestones.... Not impressed at all. Can't wait to get new tires.

Monica, is the tune going to be from the local guy who specializes in Korean cars? As far as an exhaust goes, best "bang for the buck" is removing the muffler and replacing it with a straight pipe, look into that👈

As far as going overboard like you did with the MINI I can understand that for sure. Have a plan and stick to it and when the time arrives for a "change" there's always a wealth of knowledge from those who've been there and done that.

Lol oh yeah, I got a guy (mwahahahahahaha)

There's a lot of nice choices, but I have one exhaust kit I really like... Even going with burnt tips (sexy).

Exactly Roger... I need to decide my route and keep close to the plan. A few "extras" won't matter, but nothing insane.

I take it this unit is a joke, LOL😛

Pleasantly surprised today at lunch...

Had lunch with a group of friends... ALL of whom drive BMWs.

One guy I haven't seen in 2-3 years. He heard I had ditched the MINI and wanted to know what replaced it. When I told him he seemed very impressed by my choice. Also said he's looking forward to seeing it when spring comes.

Do any of them have M's?
