No new car news gang....

But I just ran my first marathon :)
Ran the Philly Marathon this past Sunday.... with injury, brutal weather and a running partner who bailed on me last minute.
I can finally check this one off the bucket list.

 
Hey, congratulations.
I did the Boston marathon a few years ago in just under four hours.

So this happened this week.....

The Coupe is gone.
It is BY FAR, and hands down the most amazing car I've ever driven and owned.

All I can say is HOLY CRAP!!!!!!! :righton::righton::righton:
 
Holy Hell...I got one right, finally!

I do like that color Monica, even cooler in person and it's truely a case of "pics don't do it any justice".

So what's it like being down to one car? Have you bought Weather Techs yet? Are the tires up to winter use?

It's called Stealth Gray. I really like it. I originaly wanted the Nitrous Blue, but after seeing it and the Gray in person I was sold on the gray.
I actually still have the Escape.... lease isn't up yet. But that's the plan.... just one car.
I did see Weathertech has 2017 Focus RS mats, so I'll be ordering them sooner vs later.
I got 2 sets of wheels and tires with it, so right now it has Michelin Pilot Alpins on it. So far they work great.

I do see I will have my work cut out for me once the weather gets nicer.... lots of little swirls, a few scratches and crap left from it making its way across the ocean. Also, the windows are loaded with water marks :(

That's an awesome car.. maybe it's just me but I feel like all the paint corrections and what not needed on a brand new car you just got is half the fun in getting the car. The other half is in ripping the RPMs and seeing what it can do..
 
So let me get this right, it came with 2 sets of tires and wheels from the factory? If so, are the other wheels the forged, satin black wheels?

The 2nd set of wheels/tires is an option, and one I wanted. Both sets of wheels are forged... one is anthracite, the other sparkling silver.

Also,
I was sitting at my desk yesterday and my boss (VP of the company) came over with the owner of the company and says to me, "Ted (the owner) wants a ride in your car"..... um, ok!
So I leave what I'm doing and take the 2 of them out for a joy ride.
The owner was blown away... and this is someone who owns Ferraris and his "beater" is a Maserati. I feel pretty special :coolgleam:

Oh! And up to 2 years ago he was an owner/driver in a F2 national series... so he knows cars and how to drive.
 
Congrats! Great little hot-hatch. Seats and interior is nicer than one would expect. They wake up nicely with a tune too :xyxthumbs:
