I can't wait to see what else is planned for RS! Btw does it have regular halogen bulbs for the high beams or do the low beam projectors roll up when the brights are turned on?

FINALLY had a free weekend and decent weather to get my car detailed....
I spent most of Saturday detailing, taking my time and took some breaks.

Here is a final list of products used:

• Optimum Wash with splash of Optimum No Rinse and 2 buckets with grit guards and washboard
• Detail Buddy brush and ONR mix for engine bay
• CP IronX
• BM Bleche White and tire brush
• Nanoskin Fine Grade Mitt
• Menzerna 400FG with Flex 3402 and Ripes Mini both with cut pads on speed 6
• CP Essence Extreme Gloss with Flex 3402 and Ripes Mini both with polishing pads on speed 4
• CP Reload and microfibers
• McGees 37 Wheel Coating with foam applicator
• Pinnacle Crystal Clear Glass Cleaner and glass waffle towel
• Wolfgang Plastik Sealant with foam applicator
• Prima Infinity with foam applicator

I had NO issues using Essence and will most likely add it as one of my "go-to" product in the future, as well as Reload.... both went on and off easily and Reload had a nice smell as well.

The interior needed very little attention... basically a quick vacuum and wiped the dash off.

I need some outside shots, but here he is finished in the garage:





Sadly I don't have any before shots. There were only a few spots where I found some stubborn scratches from who knows what. I got 90% of them out :xyxthumbs:

Paint is VERY glossy, looks like the "Gloss Goes" were looking down on us this weekend for sure! Really looking forward to the outside pics, how did the TW work on those Michelins?

As soon as the weather is nice I'll snap some pics... hopefully tomorrow it's sunny out.

Funny you ask that Roger... didn't put any on. That shine left on them is from when I applied it a few weeks ago :righton:

I also wanted to add that McGees 37 Wheel Coating was SUPER easy to use. Spray on the applicator, wipe on and wipe off excess if needed.

i was big into the focus back in 2005 when the durtec engine was first put in, I was a MOD in the focaljet and focusfanatics websites. went to the national ford focus meets and headed up the annual focus NOPI meets, those days are long gone.

Yeah I bought my intake and ram air pipe from EC. Might get their oil cap as well
