DLUX on metal door frame?

Can DLUX coating be used on the metal around a window and metal luggage racks?

Thanks

Yes. Likely that some parts like a Roof Rack might be powder coated "paint", sure you can, or you can also use Carpro's CQuartz, or CQuartz UK too.

Any of the products mentioned here should provide very long lasting protection.

I would not use dlux on that particular pillars and door frames .just wax them. There not suppose to have a little sheen more like flat looking.By waxing them you will revive that dull look.synergy is wax and coating in one,but different from a solo coating.

Not sure why you would say that? I doubt one would notice much of a difference in sheen, with either using a quality wax or sealant, or using a coating type product such as DLX or CQuartz, or others like Optimum Gloss Coat, etc.

I've often seen such areas of cars, pickups, and suvs go to hell quite quickly with the finish being fairly gone, rub off at the edges. I would only think some type of coating product would help these areas hold up much longer than with lesser products that would not protect as long.

See those rear corner trim Pillars on my SUV here? While they are just a matte plastic, not painted, they were coated with CQuartz DLX. The finish or gloss was not really altered versus using a wax or sealant, but you can best believe the protection will be lasting much longer.

Anything black on this Tahoe was essentially coated with DLX, the Door Handles, wiper arms, all plastic trim, Step Bumper Trim, Wiper Cowl.

Sometimes it looks tacky and you can see drag marks.I had to repaint 2 mirrors due to flaking.Agree carpro products are great, but I would prefer just to use a cleaner wax on those particular areas that were posted. But that's my own opinion .Those trim pieces don't warrant a coating and they are non textured,so a polish or cleaner wax will revive them quickly.
