Do I need AA ?

With all of the newer members making discoveries lately I thought maybe it was time to revive this old thread. I know that my addiction has certainly grown over this past year. I just flat out gave up on any type of recovery and whole heartedly gave in to my addiction. While I am very fond of all types of detailing products; my taste for fine paste waxes, MF's, shampoos and QD's has truly reached an overwhelming fetish status...and I LIKE it Im the MAN

Ah, there is hope and I found the link on my Uh Oh thread, thankfully, before it was too late.

I admit it, I confess, shaking my head, I am an autogeek! there is comfort in knowing I am not alone. I no longer fight it or hide from it. I embrase it.

Still I flush when Meghan ignores my email for more than an hour, or my credit card isn't readily available for that elusive secret code number hidden on it to make an order. How I can remember the whole card number, expiration and not that little code is beyond me, it really is for security.

I get a little dizzy when I don't have a product nearby to smell or a smooth finish to caress. But, I know this is now my fate and I accept it.
 
First step of Autogeek Anonymous, Acceptance of your problem. First phase of an addiction... Denial. As for me I don't have a problem.... I swear I'm not addicted...:dunno:

It's great to see you guys are aware of your addicition and can now move on to the second step.

Personally, I I I I.......I don't have a problem... I could stop. Really I could. I don't need to visit the forum when I get to work in the am or during lunch. I have everything under control.

My name is Corey and I haven't made it to step 1 yet.

Wow Bobby! I have honestly been able to control my spending. I have sooo much stuff now, I talk myself out of a lot... However it's possible that I have maybe just a little problem with my forum dosage and the time spent playing with products.

Hey Corey,

I think you nailed this one!

I've got a great supply now and have backed off quite a bit. I have a wide variety of products to use and the application does vary. I used to take advantage of BOGO almost every time but now I do more window shopping..............Except for yesterday of course! :laughing:

I haven't tried any DODO products through.....Hmmmmm
 
Corey when you do find it order me one too then just mail it to me so I can avoid all shipping costs :D
