Do you apply wax/sealant to door jambs & inner trunk/hood?

When I coated my car, I coated the door/trunk jambs. After every wash, I just use spray wax.

I make that job easy. I use blackfire crystal seal. :xyxthumbs:

Yes...
I invariably apply Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant (WGDGPS) to those areas.

Here's a couple of photos of the inner hood;
Kinda sorta of the trunk/hatch;
No jambs photos---but WGDGPS is always present.

Really nice car Bob!

Yep. I put Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection on my jambs and inner hood/trunk.

See, a lot of you guys are smart! :-)

You learned the hard way, wanna wax your Jambs, but do you want to spend another 3 hours with towels, and detail brushes scrubbing about the powdery residues from waxes, and even the best sealants?

I sure in heck don't!

When my buddy Dave (DaveT435) sent me a nice healthy sample of Ultima "UPGP" to try some many months ago, I said to myself "Let's see how this goody works on these Jambs?"

I was wowed, and very impressed to say the least. No powders, no residues, except for some minor slight oily look, because I probably applied about 4 times as much as should've been applied. Simple knock down with an MF Towel later, and I was good!

The Jambs looked like I applied a layer of fresh clear coat, I was a totally sold man on such WOWA products in such areas.

What's excessive? Nothing IMO! I got a nice huge bottle of CQuartz UK, and when I'm through lavishly slathering all over the outside of my Tahoe, yep you guessed it, I'll coat every other square inch of paint in the Jambs, Tailgate, under Hood, and if I run out? I'll buy some more!
(Ahh, there's nothing like going "1st Class, is there!?)

I have applied everything to the jams and around the truck/hood area but your favorite spray wax is just as good and soooo easy!
