This was a real fun transformation as the customer came in for a coating, some vinyl striping and window tinting. The car came straight from the dealer with no prep. Of course the paint was in terrible condition. Many fine scratches somehow ended up on the paint.

Car was dull and lacked any pop

Paint was in poor condition

Car was clayed, then prepped for pinnacle advanced compound using a GG G 15, and 21. The 15 was most handy as there were PLENTY of curves on this body.

After the paint was corrected via pinnacle advanced compound, and advanced finishing polish, our man James lined up the knifeless tape to prepare for vinyl stripes.

Time to lay some Vinyl

We then tinted the windows 20% to give the vehicle a real blacked out look

Once the paint was prepped for coating, we turned our attention to the wheels which lacked definition and pop. They were pretty gross inside from the owner breaking in the vehicle. Calipers were also coated.

Tires were torqued to manufactures spec 150lbs

Once the rims were put to bed, we turned our attention back to the paint and trim and started coating

We finally started getting the pop we were looking for with Optimum Pro Plus

Once the outside paint, trim and glass were coated, we started our interior cleaning. All carpets and mats were coated in GTechniq Fabriq

Dashboard was coated with Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Coating

Interior came out mint

We lightly cleaned up the engine bay with Blackfire Tire and Trim Restorer

Some final muscle shots. Beautiful ride

Owner won't have an issue...State Trooper

Well that makes me feel better, the LEO's get a hall pass while we have to obey the laws. Screw that!

Glad I'm in Fla. :dblthumb2:

If it makes you feel better he was already pulled over in it and screamed at by another trooper who didn't know him. Kinda hilarious.

Hahahahaha that's awesome. Serious double standard stuff.

I remember riding Harley's with some local crash squad anti drug cops, never had to worry about a dui when I was with them LOL. Yeah, I'm an admitted hypocrite!

Great job on the stang! Thanks for sharing the detailed write-up and pics.
