Hi all
Weather was very nice today and has been several weeks since the cars last wash. So I took this opportunity to review a new Dodo Juice product from the SuperNatural line- Ferro Lube. It is a clay lube and fall out remover in one. It was shipped directly from the Dodo Factory!
Check it out

Some of the Dodo products used

I started off with a snow foam, did the wheels, gave it a wash, dried, then down to business!
. I tested the Ferro lube on the drivers side (US) rear quarter panel. I then compared with another popular fall out remover on the passenger rear quarter. A side by side was then done on the rear bumper.
Here are some before anything shots:

Dodo Juice Sour Power Shampoo

After the wash shots

After the wash stage, I splashed some Sour Power in a separate bucket and added some water for the Dodo Clay Sponge

Rear quarter panel for the Ferro Lube

After about three minutes:

Then hit it with the Dodo Clay bar

The Ferro lube definitely had a nice little lather going that kept me very comfortable the no damage was being done.
On the other side I used CarPro Iron-X. A proven product when it comes to fall out removers, and can supposedly be used as clay lube as well.

After about three minutes:

Then got hit with the Dodo Clay bar

Just in case, I had the Born skippy ready to go

Time for the Side By Side

After a few minutes, pics of both side w the product

And broke out some Engel for the LSP!

Ferro Lube has joined the family!

In Conclusion,
I did a full winter prep in November, including decontamination. I think this attributed to the lack of good bleeding by either product. Car was pretty clean. What impressed me was that the highly effective Iron-x did not pull off any more than the Ferro Lube. The photos are a bit dark and are not very good. But if you are saying to yourself- they look the same- it's because they did!
The Ferro lube felt great as a clay lubricant- very smooth, no dead ends. Those lower panels needed it too! On the other side of the rear quarter, the Iron -x didn't feel that bad TBH. A little less smooth but not too bad. It was on the rear bumper I noticed a greater difference with the clay bar. The Iron-X was go and stop, seeming spotty with catchy areas, where the Ferro Lube was gliding the bar all over and back again. Produced a nice little lather of lubrication! The Iron-x COULD be used in this fashion, but I would use a product designed with clay in mind :dblthumb2:
This product is a time saver in my opinion. Combining this product with the clay sponge is like a double whammy!! I think that was the meaning of Ferro Lube's design, and cheers boys- Effective, efficient product--I like it! :xyxthumbs:
