2010 Dodge Challenger with fairly low miles can into the shop for an estimate on a full paint correction detail topped with Cquartz Finest. Long Island is full of professional detailers but is lacking those who are competent in paint coatings. This particular client was considering fully repainting the car, granted it's condition was serious and the swirls were not light. Across all panels we found heavy swirling and deep marring. This was not a job for the faint hearted and in the end came to about 30 hours of work.

Overall, the Challenger was clean in terms of contamination but the swirls were a serious problem.

Here is a close up of the correction work prior to the final polishing stage. The correction was very extensive and aggressive and required a lot of cleaning up before prepping for Cquartz Finest.

And here comes the boom sauce, also known as Cquartz Finest.

A lot more real estate on those Challengers than one might think at first glance. First time I corrected mine it took me 3 days in the garage to get it done. Exact same brilliant black as posted here.

Good job OP. Out of curiosity, what pad and product did you settle on to correct this?

Excellent job, the metallic flakes really pop now!

Excellent work and write up, simple, direct, Beautiful!

Thanks for sharing.

Great job on the car for sure, no doubt about it but hopefully some education was given to the customer to keep the swirls down! WOW the befores on such a low mileage car were bad, on a black car, even though its metallic, didn't help either!

Thanks guys! I really enjoyed this detail but it had definitely challenged me and my patience!

BEAUTIFUL work! That's one of my 3 dream cars. And the CQuartz Finest bottle looks killer. I know packaging doesn't matter, but imho it looks so much nicer than the regular bottles
