Finished up a detail yesterday for my first repeat customer. I did her Jeep Wrangler back in July and she brought me her daily driver Dodge Dart to clean up and seal yesterday. She admitted to using a bath towel to dry the car which certainly explains the condition of the paint, but said she has since changed her ways since I taught her a few things when we did her Wrangler.

Products/processes:

Chemical Guys Diablo wheel gel on the wheels
Opti-Clean for tires and wheel wells
Rinseless wash w/ UWW+ (first time I've used this.....LOVED it)
Nanoskin fine grade prep towel w/ UWW+ for lube
HD Polish w/ tangerine pad on a Rupes
Opti-Seal on paint/wheels
Armor All in the wheel wells
Chemical Guys VRP on the tires

A closer look at the paint after wash/decon under the LED lights:

Making some progress. Left some rids behind, but she wasn't paying to chase those. Still looks much better:

Overall it turned out pretty well. For a daily driver it's a pretty nice little car. She was a happy camper when she picked it up and asked for a stack of business cards to pass out to people she knows, so hopefully I'll be picking up some more jobs thanks to her

I think the Dart looks great, nothing like a black car once its all done! I'll have to keep an eye out for that car while I'm out and about:thumbup:

Very good outcome; nicely done. All that attention to detail does pay off; the client's response says it all.

'You nailed it'!, very beautiful work (and car), great write-up and photography!

Thanks for sharing,

Kind Regards.

Awesome job! I bet it didn't look that good when your customer picked it up new from the dealer. I like where you taught her something on the Wrangler clean up. I think the people we deal with truly want their cars to look good and will take the extra steps to get there. It obviously paid off for you as well as you got the repeat business. Even better, it's your 1st repeat. Speaks well for your service and work. Again, kudos!
Keep up the good work

Fantastic! Black always gives me second thoughts about taking a car on, but your customer was pleased enough to come back. Cool!

And now I absolutely have to get the DIY LED setup...
