Dodge Neon Extreme Makeover with Dodo Juice

Awesome job!

I love seeing 50/50 shots like this. It really shows what detailing is all about.

WoW Mike!
This one was really bad.... don't you just love to work on a car like that ? Well... I mean... detailing top notch cars must be great... I say must because I haven't detailed any expensive car yet, but a car like this neon must makes any detailer proud....

I fell your initial write up on this thread fits me perfectly.... I was trying to give a show car attention to DD.... but just now I realized this was just not practical.... They soon get messed again by some car washing and also because owners can't tell a difference (or even care) from a fast detail job and a show car detail job...

Thank you for writing this... it brings peace to my soul...

I think we need a car like this in the SEMA booth next year. I think it would really turn heads since all of the cars out there are show cars.

I love doing extreme makeovers on cars that are completely wiped-out like this Neon was... especially for original single stage paints. Favorite projects bar none.

That's why I'm still hoping this is in the works...

Will that paint oxidize again? If it does, what would prevent it from happening?

Very cool thread btw, AMAZING RESULTS AND PICTURES!!!!

Of course the paint will oxidize again IF the owner does the same thing he did last time for maintenance which was nothing.

Nothing lasts forever, not even you an I...

Actually, if you park your car in a garage and cover it and then never drive it the finish should last a long time and it shouldn't oxidize, at least not to anywhere near what you saw in this extreme makeover. Of course that kind of takes the practicality out of owning the car.

If you want the finish on any car, truck suv or siv, (special interest vehicle), then just like changing the oil to maintain the reliability of the engine you need to regularly maintain the appearance of both the inside and the outside with some type of car detailing products.

Good questions!
