So, I washed and clayed yesterday. This is going to be a few day process.

Here is the hood after washing and claying.

Other parts were too dark to get a good picture and I didn't have a proper light with me.

Texture/brightness/smoothness etc...

What are you going to apply after you clay?

Great Job btw

After claying it looked a lot better, but then again it always does, right? ;)

There are water spots and some minor scratches it looks like, so I'll be doing a light polish then Blacklight.

Topping it all off with BFWD then Black Ice! :D

All taped up and ready to go...

And taped off for comparisons and test area...

So last night/early morning I took to 105 in select spots and 205 all over to remove water spots and some light swirls.

I used the GGDA with both Megs and LC MF pads.

Here's a before pic on the hood.

After...

Some more shots from random places afterwards...

And this is on the hood. Not sure what it is but it looks like bubbling. It's been there since I bought the truck and has not gotten worse.

I can't wait to see what Blacklight looks like now.

That's next.

Some pics after Blacklight applied...

And after BFWD applied...

After a coating of Black Ice applied...

If it weren't for the orange peel...it'd be glowing! :)
