Dodo Juice launches Skull Candy for Halloween

My apologies. I should have left well enough alone. I meant no harm. :grouphug:

Alright, sorry, I probably just interpreted it that way because I already felt bad when I learned the circumstances of the situation. Let's just celebrate that we have some fresh blood to catch the detailing fever :hungry:

You know, I thought about getting this as I haven't tried Dodo Juice before, but I think I'll pass and see what comes around - besides, Christmas is coming soon! Also, Meguiar's is announcing their 2011 products tomorrow, and I look forward to seeing what they're going to be offering. For those of you who get Skull Candy, you owe us some pics! :props:

Sounds cool to me! I do always like it when Autogeek offers new stuff, even if it's not something I'd buy. Makes for good reading and potential reviews and writeups! Im the MAN

Does anyone have an empty or nearly empty 30ml dodo panel pot they would trade for or send me? I would like to do some measurements and weights on the pot before my order arrives. I don't want to have to empty my skull candy order to do it though. I will post my results here once I get done.

You do realize that the contest involves guessing the weight of the wax in the skull, not in a 30ml-1oz-28.35gram sample pot, right?

Yes, I believe he does. He has something else in mind I believe. :) He is going to weigh and measure the empty pot, then weigh the Skull Candy pot and subtract the weight of the empty pot from that weight to find out the weight of just the 30mL of the wax.

Correct. It will also help me better gauge the cavity the wax sits in, as I don't have any 30ml pots, so the picture with the skull next to the pots doesn't give me any idea how big or small the skull pot actually is.

I should be able to to a relatively fair estimation on the skull size once I can measure a pot and get the skull photo into photoshop.

The only outstanding question that I won't be able to answer is how deep into the skull does the wax go. I haven't been able to find any other information on the skull or who made the skull so no way to know really.

I'm gonna take a guess and say that the brain is roughly 150mL. Because the brain is as wide as the jar, but it is twice as long. It is also twice as thick, but it has a bump in the middle of it that looks like it could be about the size of another pot. This would mean that you take 150mL times whatever the weight of 1mL is. Just my guess. I'm not getting a pot so.... But then again, with it being a one time wax, maybe they made more. :P It's a mystery that not even Sherlock Holmes could solve lol.

what happens if say more then one person get it right

it will be the closest to the actual weight that will win...

Maybe PJ will donate his skull?

my own skull 8) that a little morbib - lol

Good question, especially since it is entirely possible that will happen.

if the nearest weight has 2 guessers then we will make them share 8) no no - might have to go to a final showdown question - there is only ONE Skull available so someONE has to win....
