I am thinking the same. I may need to call dear Penny!Wow, they must have some big difference in the Megs DA from unit to unit. My buddy just bought one and said it was pretty easy to stop it from spinning.
I had to draw a black line with a Sharpie because I can stop mine much easier than I can my GG. I use the Megs MF to cut . The GG has sheared at least 3 of them. The Megs is much smoother with MF, IME.Could be Corey, idk. I could stop mine as well if I tried to use the edge of the pad, but if it's flat it'll spin the meg's cutting pad and m105 easily. I didn't try to stop it completely, but I did put my body weight into it and even pushed a bit more. It didn't stop and I figured no more sense in trying to get it to stop since it seemed to have more power than I anticipated.
With a 4-5 inch pad I believe I could just about sit on it if it had a steering wheel...ha ha. I'm quite pleased with it.
This was my first thought too Jim! We think enough alike that I think you should worry!
