Curious if anyone actually (FULLY) cleans any of their customers undercarraige - i.e. exhaust pipes (not just tips), frame, axels, etc...

Also, if so, what have you found to be a good cleaner for both surface rust on exhaust pipes, and general oil sludge underneath the engine area and on the axels, etc.???

Cuurently I am using Griots Engine Cleaner for the oily stuff (on my personal car), but haven't taken the plunge into rust removal, etc.

Also, I am about to grab some P21S Total Auto Wash to try on some of the frame pieces, axels, and other oily/grimy areas..

If they pay i clean easy as that.My own car i do before a show also

i am too damn old to clean axels and such underneath a car. used to do that for concours events that i entered. i like amazing roll off for exhausts and usually do the tips for my customers. 0000 steel wool or brass wool (even better) helps. a shot of undercarriage spray after the cleaning will make em gleem. megs hyperdressing might work too.

I charge by the hour and will get as OCD as the customers budget allows.......

Same here when it comes to services like that. Generally speaking it doesn't happen, but I have been asked before about it.

Would be much nicer/easier if I had access to a lift though!
