if these pads are mainly contact meaning just contact from pad to car then why not use just a microfiber applicator pad? you a machine just to put this final process on the car seems like a waste of time to me. i probably get the car done in half the time than using a machine for this final step

Feed back please thanks guys

I find it easier to get a thinner and faster application using a machine, personally. Think about it...instead of rubbing a small pad back and forth over an entire vehicle, let the machine do the work and you just move it around. :)

Machine application allows for a much thinner and even application IMO. I think it is faster as well.

Takes me 20 minutes to apply and remove the LSP by hand. I prefer doing the last step by hand rather then machine

me too its just so easy. my application pad is almost the same size as my 5.5 ccs pad. As far as the thin layer i just dont put as much. i think that falls on the user more than the machine.

Blue and Red pads with machine application. easier an quicker.
Color is just for specific products i use them for.

I too use a machine for my lsp. Much quicker for me. But understand it's not for everyone.

I use the blue and red on my PC. Its a lot faster and easier to apply thin and even for me.

I only apply UPGP by hand, but all other LSP's are applied with a 4" Crimson Hydro-Tech pad via DA. I use the blue pad for jeweling.

I use the Blue and Red CCS pads on the DA for glazes and lsp products. I find it allows me to have thinner more complete coverage. But that's just my preference.

I have used a blue LC pad for Collinite 845/476 application. Quick and the desired thin coat. I am pleased how easy, quick and uniform the application with easy wipe off.

When I started using my dual action polisher for applying sealants it did it so quickly and so flawlessly the next logical thing to do was apply wax in the same manor.

Applying products with a machine allow me finer control ensuring that the correct amount of product is applied. I get complete coverage in 1/3 the time and I tend not to waste product only to have it end up on the buffing cloth rather than on the finish.

I apply these products using both blue and red CCS 6 1/2" foam pads.

I use red and blue LC pads to apply LSP. As everyone has mentioned it can save time, spread thinner, and use less product.

While I don't see it mentioned, does anyone use the gold pad mentioned by the original poster? I don't just curious if anyone else does..

Never used the gold pads just red and blue

I have used it once. I didn't see much difference from the red pad though.

I use red for wax app.. I also used a red pad with a microfiber bonnet over it for removal a couple times- worked pretty well. I used a black (grey) pd to apply Meg Ultimate Wax once. Will never do that again- it absorbed so much by the second half of the car I took the pad off the machine and used it as a hand applicator for the rest of the car. It's still fully loaded and sitting in a Ziplock baggie waiting for another car...

Put me down for quicker by hand even though I put nuba on with a PC. I don't take the wax out of the tub so by the time I stop; use my plastic edge tool to scoop wax; spread on pad; apply it has to be slower.
I put my WG DGPS on by hand, but may try a PC next time. First need to get some more red pads.
