Does cquartz fine protect the car from scratches?

has anyone used cquartz ?

Is cquartz a sealant product?

nothing protects the car from scratches.

CQuartz will "HELP" protect the car from wash induced "LIGHT" marring.

But from scratch's. NO

I would beg to differ. Most of the silica coatings impart at least some scratch-resistance - particularly the thicker ones like Finest.

The coating becomes the sacrificial barrier. It in itself is not immune to being scratched, marred, or etched,...so indirectly its protecting what's underneath by sacrificing itself. That's true however with waxes and sealants as well, but coatings last much longer and offer crazy good ease of washing and drying after its applied.

I have cquartz consumer version on my truck. it definetly does not prevent scratches. i have saved HOURS not waxing or sealing yet over time whether it is road rash, scratches, micro marring, they all happen (and bug the hell out of me - ha)

Nothing will prevent scratches. It's like calling body armor bullet-proof vests. There's no such thing. But it DOES impart some scratch RESISTANCE. Meaning the paint will not be as susceptible to swirling\etc.
