Does Simple Green have a purpose??

Works great on my RC cars for general clean up and to make the wheels a little stickier too :)

I use to use Simple Green all the time and never had issues with it.
Now I don't use it only because there's better APC's out there.
But it's dirt cheap, especially when diluted!

Anyone think it would be good as a paint cleaner to get rid of all the waxes that are on the car and start fresh from the clear coat?

If so, what dilution do you think would do the job w/out being too strong or wasteful?

The HD is not corrosive to aluminum as the standard green bottle is (or used to be; don't know if that's changed). I use the HD diluted pretty good as my tire cleaner and engine degreaser. Does an awesome job and after several years of this I've never had any ill effects from the product...neither has my vehicle, LOL!

I recently used Simple Green to clean an interior. The mix was (10:1) and I was not impressed. Re-cleaned with Armor-all. I would not use on exterior paint. For sticker removal goo-gone.

I talked my dealer into taking the decal off..... but, you guys have brought up some great uses for Simple Green. Thanks.
