Does this make me an Autogeek?

I was hoping for some surport from my forum friends and all you guys do is make me feel like an Autogeek. :( I thought it was normal to pull you wheels off and clean all the stuff.

Gary it's a great thing to be an Autogeek. I love it! At least you took your own wheels off. I had to take my car to the mechanic to have him remove mine. It is normal to pull your wheels off and clean them.... at least that is what I tell myself. ;)

Very normal Gary...very normal. Not to worry sir. You got them looking great and now you don't want to drive it because they will get dirty again (come on, we all think this way).

Now, if you were "over the top"...you would remove those rotors and sand/clean each individual vane.

Nothing wrong with being an Autogeek, in this forum we all are in more or less degree.

looks great gary... those brakes dust like crazy though dont they.... my dad has an 07 zo6 and everytime i look the wheels are covered in dust

Thanks everyone, I'm glad I'm not the only Autogeek on here. Tonya you have really become an Autogeek.

Truls and pirex, I guess we won't be seeing any outside details from you guys for a while. Truls did you put the Evo away for the winter?

Thanks for the idea Toto. At least now I have a black car to play with.

If the brakes dust to much I'll go ahead and put some ceramic brake pads on.
