It's been a good 6months since I last detailed...now I cant remember what to use and in what order...yep going senile! So how this sound:

1. Polish using whatever I have using a Orange pad
2. Klasse polish with a white pad
3. Sealant with a gray pad
4. Soveran paste with a blue pad (3X)

I'm using a PC7424, but need to buy new pads...any suggestions would be welcome regarding pads choice and/or order of products.

thanks

Well, it depends as to the condition of the car. If it is not in need of serious correction then I'd say M205 with a flat white pad, then move to your sealant and wax with the pads you suggested.

Car is 4 years old...well taken care of...some scratches...it's a daily driver

That's me...life got crazy, had to focus on the family and job...now I can get ready for a summer of detailing bliss! How's it going Killr....so is my plan look okay?

remember Klasse AIO is more of a chemical cleaner versus a true polish and might not remove any micromarring introduced from orange pad and polish chosen. I might suggest using Menzerna PowerFinish 203 which finishes down on its own and then your pattern. (that is if you have that polish)

I dont have the 203. So at what point should I use the Klasse?

Your scheme looks good, but you might want to clay too, like HMFIC said. Happy cleaning

I still feel you need a lighter polish and pad between the polishing and Klasse AIO to remove any micromarring left by pad and polish choice. You could then use the AIO as wanted to prep surface for sealant of choice or skip as wanted.

No bowing ... and I do have ribs but much to much chubie around them to make them delicious. I suggest baby-backs ! (smiles)
