That's why if you want durability you should look at Shield. Very similar waxes in there 6-12 months durability. Still slick after 3 months. When people think your nuts for spending a lot on wax, ask how much they spend on golfing? Lol
Interesting to see the feedback!
Because of talking to you I ordered concourso and glacier. I will let you know which works best on our cars. My gf has a new Lexus is250 fsport and has white metallic paint. My paint is carrara white. Its a bit warmer and isn't a washing machine blueish white. Whichever one looks the best will be the one I will continue to buy. If the couple that I'm working with buys a two million dollar home I will be really tempted to buy crystal rock. But I also want to do some suspension mods and change from center lock wheels to regular 5 lug wheels. This car will probably be the last sports car I ever buy. I've always wanted this car and I'm sinking too much money into it. But if I didn't have permanent spine issues, I would probably eyeing the gt3rs.

You can get great looks and durability with crystal rock. I just wish that it was cheaper. I don't mind spending some bucks on waxes, but crystal rock is way more than what I would like to spend, but I have thought about it recently because I have a client that could possibly be buying a really expensive home which would mean a huge commission check for me which means I can buy stuff for the car.
Personally, 0. I apply LSP whether it be the same or or a different one once or twice a month.
Customers however is a different story. This is when a balance between a wax/sealant with great looks & equal durability comes into play.
This is why so many people argue. Wax A has great looks but poor durability, Wax B has better durability, not so great in looks (Collinite). Ive said it before and ill say it again, im in the business of making my car look good.
Durability, not so much.
In my situation - NO.
My wagon gets a weekly cleaning, which is why my wax collection (or lack thereof) is but a pair; D156 & Souveran.
I can't speak for BrutalNoodle but I love D156. Very easy to apply even in cold temps, looks great, and normally lasts about 3-4 weeks for me.Do you like the d156? I'm looking for a new spray wax to get and this is on my list.
I'm in the same boat with Chris - love the product. Zero regret. Picked up a sample bottle to try, and ended up buying a gal before the sample was even used up.
I have a hard time buying gallon sizes in shampoos and sealants lol... such a commitment.
Haha, yeah...sort of a double-edged move, isn't it?
On one hand, you have an ample supply of product you're quite content with.
On the other hand, you're stuck with a lot of product should something better (and there always is) comes along.
For what its worth, the OTC equivalent of D156 is Ultimate Quik Wax and M135 is Ultimate Quik Detailer. Not to mention if you don't like it! Like some of the Meg's pro line would be a big gamble to someone like me!! I could not imagine buying a gallon of jetseal or similar!

But yeah, I'm apprehensiveness about buying gallons also. That's why I always try a smaller bottle first and make sure I really like it. My only gallons right now are D156, M135, OPC, and Mothers Foaming Wheel&Tire Cleaner. Got a lot 32oz ONR's from BOGO though. lol

Funny you should mentioned M135 as I've just picked up a 16oz to try (that and D151). Should be here on Tues.
Congratulations!! I have full confidence you will love both! When my guy up here comes in with more SV stock, I will pick up Glacier. Please do a review on it! I am eyeing Raceglaze Black Label right now, I love the container. Hope you make the sale bud!! Crystal Rock will blow you away! If you don't have one yet, I would recommend a wax fridge for your collection. I would also recommend trying hand massage application. I have just gotten into it and I love doing it and feeling all of the curves on my amg.
If you are going to change up our Porsche one day, take a look at an SL63 (yes I am biased). I have driven a few extensively and I got to say, by far one of my favourite cars on the market. Great on the highway!
To answer your previous question about Cleaner Fluid, I looked into it more and found out it is almost an all in one. Its called cleaner fluid because it is a direct translation from Romansh. The fine/mild is very similar to SF4500 with regards to cutting, it has a bit of filler in it, and a paint cleaner. You machine polish, then apply wax directly after you wipe off. That's all the prep work there. Although the only time you would use it is for shows. The more aggressive grades are for full on swirl removal and compounding.
I have a 32oz size of d151. Used it once lol. Worked well, cut well and restored a nice shine. Can't comment on the durability since I haven't seen the car since.
I had a 2009 E63. A really good car for work to take clients out to show properties, but for a fun car I am going to stick with porsche. I've driven several amg cars at some amg day my dealer had and I liked them, but they really need to lose some weight and get a double clutch transmission. Maybe I can sway you to my side.![]()
