It was First called
•Art's Car Detailing•
Then figured that would mean I would have to do interior work. So I changed it to
•Art's Car Paint Restoration•

But then it would make the customers think I would be bringing their cars paint back to new again.

I just want to fix up cars (cosmetically) bring the shine back up... Before the clear coat starts peeling off... Or beat up classics like bugs or novas etc.

What is the word that I am looking for?
Art's Car Paint *****?

Art's Car Paint Fixer upper? Haha
 
I had a pretty good thing going a few years back. A friend of mine would pay me $150 per car.
To buff, polish, wax. He would buy cars and turn them back around and sell them all "polished up" he would tell me it would add like $500 dollar value to the total sale.
 
Looking for a word higher than Polish and lower then Restoration.

Polish sounds like anybody can do it. And restoration might come out as to like new finish. Not exactly sure.

Art's Car Paint Restoration sounds pretty nice though.

Here is the definition: (I think restoration might fit)

What are some of the names of other detailers in your area. both guys by use their first names so I stayed away from that.
 
Yeah I would too, but since my name is Art was kinda hard to turn down. But I'll change it just needed to hear it from someone else cos it is something I already thought about. Now it is confirmed.
 
When I typed in Car Detailer on Yelp. Second to None came up. They look awesome!!!

They have great reviews too. They look super legit. I would like to have my car detailed by them to see the professionals go to work.

Mine would be different cos they are doing "Detail" and I would be doing "Paint Restoration"

I asked how much they would charge for my 2003 Dodge stratus coupe.
For just, Clay,Buff,Polish, and wax. Nothing else and they told me $200

When you say paint restoration who are you exactly targeting?

That's what the cars name is Green Machine

I only wish I would have photographed my other work. They were more like 2008-2009 models just brought nack the shine, removed swirl marks and all.

I am targeting those who love their cars but don't know how to properly take care of them and the clear started fading. And before it starts peeling I can bring the shine back before it's to late. At $200.

Classics too... With paint oxidation. Someone who drives a classic obviously loves there car but might not have the $2000 for a professional paint job. But can afford the $200

So they can still keep loving their car and not have to worry about selling it cos it got all beat up (cosmetically)

Or those who like to buy cars and flip them. It will add $500 value for $200.
 
I just simply call my biz(very small) Detailing by TA. It's simple. I use the logo that is in my avatar. I'm a big fan of simple, easy to remember names.
 
I don't need a constant flow of business like 1 or 2 cars a month is where I am looking to start at.

I contacted my friend, the one who flips cars and I told him I would do a car for him if he made me professional business cards.

He does the professional hard glossy ones. He said "deal"

I'm going to just start buffing cars for everything. A girl to wash my clothes, Iron, fold, organize. I'll buff her car.

If I want a tattoo I'll buff their car.

Need to borrow my neighbors cable tv, I'll buff their car.

Actually I just buffed my Gf's car I am going to tell her she owes me $200 of house wife duties.

No I am not married I am still to young. Maybe when I'm like 85 I'll get married 😂

I'm only 26
