The car had been repainted a few months ago.The painter wanted to remove the orange peel from the hood, roof and the trunk of the car
The results were terrible....
The rest of the car had only some swirls
The process was
Meguiars Diamond Cut on Megs 8'' wool pad on rotary
Meguiars #83 on PFW on rotary
Those had been used on the wet sanded areas, followed as the rest of the car with the below
Meguiars # 83 on DAS orange light cutting pad on UDM
Meguiar's #80 on LC 6'' white polishing flat pad on UDM
Meguiar's NXT WAX as LSP
The plastic trims were dressed with Meguiar's plastic and trim dressing

Some random 50/50 shoots
The 50/50 on the wet sanded areas are after compounding with diamond cut so forgive some hazing

Good save pampos! The owner must have been floored with those results. I can live with a little orange peel as long as the finish is clean like you made it.

Beautiful work.

I can't get over how the paint shop allowed that car to leave. They could not have been proud of the cars condition.

Thanks mate....The problem is that the paint shop did it twice because the first time was even worse than that :D:D

Yet another beautiful job pampos! Definitely brought that paint back to life.

Great job! Those headlights are hazed to all hell though. What year is the BMW?

Thanks guys very much..I don't know what year it is but i think it is a 90's car....Maybe 3 models older than the new one...

very good work, but im suprised you didnt do anything to the headlights
