I used a Dakota (air nuetralizer) bomb on my truck. Lasted over a month and still going. I used a Dp (just detailed) on my wifes car and it last a few days. So I gave her

a Dakota bomb and so far so good. I used a new leather DP in my Fusion on Friday. The car sat all weekend and you honestly can only smell a hint at best of the freshner.

Not real impressed with the Dp air bombs.Feed back please

...had the same experience with "just detailed". Smells good but doesnt last

Yeah,I had the same experience.
DP Leather scent-lasted (1-1/2) days :(

I use mine to spritz weekly after cleaning the cars. I suppose I use it more of a spray than a bomb but like the scent Freshly Detailed and wife keeps taking the Tropical version.

If you go with CarPro So2Pure, then use an air freshener, it will last much longer IME. It might just be in my mind, but it seems to last a lot longer.

What scent dakota bomb did you like / use?

Dakota bombs are well....the BOMB! They deliver as advertised...kinda nice when a product just works that good each and every time!

I'm going to have to give these Dakota bombs a try, they sound like they work pretty well....:props:

I used a "Just Detailed' Dakota bomb 5 days ago on my wifes "taxi" and its still very evident.

Correction...Dakota Odor Bomb Car Odor Eliminator - Neutral Air- Is actually the one I used on my truck and my wifes car. It leaves a very pleasant scent imo.

As per "which Dakota air fresheners do you use..." I have used both the Vanilla (more for the female customers) and the New Car for most others. Depending on how severe the smoke smell or any other smells..you may need a couple of applications. I usually spray once under each floor mat and once on headliner area..then close windows and DO NOT open for a couple of hours if possible. I usually do this first..then proceed to wash and detail car....
