Has anyone used DP Clay? How was your experience? Does it mar? Should I get this or something OTC?

I have found all clay to lightly mar as is abrasive. You are rubbing clay against a finish. For cars neglected I have used DP and Wolfgang (grey) with nice success.

I like DP better that polyclay. Its gets off more contaminents and it doesnt marr any more that polyclay. Def a good offering.

:iagree: :iagree:

DP clay does a great job!

Haven't used DP/nor Wolfgang clay, but I'm sure both are nice and won't degrade quickly. Be sure to use proper lubricant, as soap can degrade your clay bar quickly.

Ive never noticed any marring with Mothers clay.

Thanks guys for the response :D I will order some when I run out of clay.

I was planning on picking up the DP clay too in my order because it seems to be the best price on the site... But I will be using it on a somewhat new (4000mi) car, doesn anyonr think it will be too harsh? Id rather not shell out the cash for the pinnacle clay, but If I really should then I will.

Is there any clay considered "fine" or "less agressive" then the pinnacle without the pinnacle price?

edit: oops I meant less agressive LIKE the pinnacle

Just get some Mothers clay.

So then mother's clay (the yellow stuff they sell in a kit) is less agressive then the DP gray stuff?

The mother's kit only comes with 2.2oz of clay, I'd like to buy more then that, 8oz preferably.

Good clay lube will decrease the chances of marring. I use Four Star Clay Lube and it's been good to work with

What about Sonus clay? Are they any good?Green or Grey

Even though we can't discuss products not sold on AG, the green clay is the fine clay, grey's new formula has been known to mar.
