Is there any similarities in this gel wheel cleaner and the P21 gel cleaner? Is the DP safe on all finishes aluminum uncoated and coated etc? Im thinking of purchasing it, Thanks

I personaly don't think it cleans or clings as well as well as P21S. The DP is a great wheel cleaner, but P21S Wheel Gel has some pretty big shoes to fill. The DP doesn't really seem like it is as much of a gel as the P21S.

Another awesome wheel cleaner, that's safe for all wheels is the Griots Wheel Cleaner. I would recomend any of the 3, with P21S being the best.

I have to agree that all three mentioned above are the best of the best and safest on all wheels. Pricing and size are biggest difference and each act a little different in application but all work pretty well with a little agitation and rinse.

P21s has two formulas the gel and regular, DP is more like the regular.

DP Gel and P21S Gel are both safe on all wheels.

P21S Gel is the clingiest gel wheel cleaner out there, and it's what makes it so expensive is that it's super gentle yet SUPER effective. The only downside to the P21S Gel (aside from being absurdly expensive) is that for severe baked-on brake dust such as on the wheel barrels, you may have to spray and then wait for up to 2 hours before agitating with brushes and then rinsing off....the longer you let it sit, the more cleaning power you get.

Personally, I always have a 5 liter jug of P21S Gel, along with various other wheel cleaners for regular maintenance cleanings. The P21S Gel canister is hanging on a wall in a casing that says "Break glass in case of emergency."
